A man who dangerously drove a car into two pedestrians in Salisbury has been convicted in court.
Braden Lynam, 22, of Woodborough Close in Trowbridge, pleaded guilty to inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, actual bodily harm and causing serious injury by dangerous driving at Winchester Crown Court.
The charges relate to an incident that occurred in South Western Road last month, on March 27th.
Lynam was involved in a physical altercation with a man aged in his 40s, which a woman in her 20s attempted to break up.
Seconds later, Lynam got into his car and drove at high speed toward the pair in an act of retaliation. The crash resulted in the male victim sustaining life-changing injuries, and the female was left with serious but non-life-changing injuries.
Lynam did not stop at the scene and continued into Churchfields Road, where he abandoned his vehicle and evaded police until he was arrested on March 31st.
Lynam has been remanded in custody to be sentenced on July 4th.
