The ever-popular Santa Sleigh Run is returning for 2025, covering the same areas as it did last year.
Organised by a group of local businesses, the run features their spectacular sleigh, snow machine, lights and plenty of festive music.
The team behind the Idmiston Santa Sleigh Run have announced their dates and routes for this year.
The sleigh draws large crowds as it blasts out festive anthems, bringing its own snow flurry and Santa's elves (some not so short), and helpers hand out sweets to the young people in attendance.
Last year, people who spotted Father Christmas on the sleigh gave generously, with a total of £7205 being raised for Salisbury Hospice Charity.
The runs start each day at approximately 5 pm, and, as in previous years, you will be able to track Santa and the sleigh as they travel their route on the Salisbury Radio website, where the Santa Tracker also returns.
All routes have been pre-planned, and the team is unable to deviate from them. They have tried to accommodate as many areas as possible.
The team will be carrying collection buckets as they spread the festive cheer, with every penny collected going to Salisbury Hospice Charity, or you can donate via the Just Giving Page here - https://www.justgiving.com/page/santa-sleigh-run-idmiston-group-3
