A man appeared in court today, charged with attempted murder following an incident in Salisbury.
Jake Guyatt, 32, of Spire View, appeared at Salisbury Magistrates Court this morning (7/5).
The charge relates to an incident at an address in Firsdown on May 5 in which a woman sustained serious injuries. She remains in hospital.
As well as attempted murder, Guyatt has also been charged with possession of a bladed article in a public place, possession of an offensive weapon, and possession of a class B drug.
No pleas were entered this morning, and Guyatt has been remanded in custody. He will next appear at Salisbury Crown Court on June 3.
