Two crews from Salisbury fire station were called to assist with a road traffic collision on the A360 this morning (29th November 2021).
At around 7.56am crews confirmed a collision involving one vehicle on its side with one casualty medically trapped.
"Crews got to work using a short extension ladder to extricate the individual who was passed to the care of the Southwest ambulance service," said a spokesperson for Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue.
Wiltshire Police added, "We attended with the fire and ambulance service to a vehicle, a Ford Ranger, being on its side with the driver mechanically trapped.
"The driver was safely removed from the vehicle and was being assessed by the ambulance service, but no injuries reported at this stage."
