Dorking Wanderers secured all three points at the Ray Mac on a damp Saturday afternoon.
Second-half goals from Jose Marquez and Jimmy Muitt ensured that Dorking kept their unbeaten record against Salisbury.
Salisbury were the first to have an effort on target. Tom Davies rising high at the back post from a Tommy Willard corner, but his downward header was blocked on the line and turned behind for another corner.
Dorking then created a good chance with 10 minutes played. Will Buse did well to get down and push Luke Moore's effort behind from a corner after a good move down the right by the visitors.
Dorking enjoyed a sustained period of possession as the first half headed toward the midway point; however, they were unable to create a clear-cut chance or fully test Buse.
It took until the 29th minute for the visitors to force a save from Salisbury's keeper. Frank Vincent hit an effort from distance, Buse parried away, and Brennan Camp couldn't direct the rebound on target.
Matty Taylor had a guilt-edged chance in the 33rd minute to open the scoring for the Whites - he controlled the ball well as it dropped from the sky as Ollie Morgan whipped the ball in. However, Taylor couldn't sort his feet out quickly enough, and Harrison Foulkes blocked his eventual effort away.
With the game heading towards half-time, Alfie Rutherford flashed a header just wide of the upright from a Jimmy Muitt cross from the right and the match remained goalless at the break.
The second half started fairly evenly, with neither side able to create any clear-cut chances. It took until the 58th minute for a shot on target, and that led to the opening goal of the game.
Jose Marquez, who arrived at Dorking on loan from Forest Green Rovers just a few days ago, tucked the ball home after Brennan Camp turned a Jimmy Muitt cross back across the face of the goal.
Josh Keeya looked to provide an almost instant response for the home side, his drive from 25 yards went narrowly wide of Foulke's goal, with the Dorking keeper stranded.
The visitors doubled their lead in the 68th minute when Jimmy Muitt hammered the ball high past Buse after Camp whipped into a good area on the edge of the 6-yard box.
The officials added nine minutes to the end of the match, with the remainder of the second half being a fairly scrappy affair. There was two good chances in the additional time. First, Dom Revan denied Dennon Lewis a chance to go through on goal with a good recovery tackle in the third added minute.
At the other end, Noah Coppin saw his shot blocked after a good Salisbury move in the fourth added minute. Salisbury, however, couldn't find a way through, and the game ended with the visitors taking all three points.
