Wiltshire Police has issued a renewed appeal for witnesses following a serious assault in Salisbury in which a man sustained facial injuries.
In a statement they said, "At around 2.30am on December 3 the man was assaulted with an object, believed to be a screwdriver, on the junction of New Canal and Milford Street, and sustained a puncture wound just below his eye.
"The suspect, described as a man wearing black with a face covering, is believed to have ridden away on a push bike. He is thought to have been cycling around the city centre for some time before the incident.
