Wiltshire's Police and Crime Commissioner has voiced concerns that wide-ranging police reform will take away the public’s voice on policing - and end up costing more money without an uplift in local policing service or crime-fighting ability.

This evening's (27th January) Wiltshire derby between Salisbury and Chippenham Town at the Ray Mac has been postponed.

As part of its creative theme for 2026, Joyful Noise, Salisbury Cathedral will be screening the 2019 documentary ‘White Riot’ by Rubika Shah on Thursday, 12th February.

Wiltshire Council’s latest financial update shows a significant improvement in its forecast year-end position, with the authority now forecasting a small underspend by the end of the financial year.
