Wilding restaurant on Salisbury's high street is set to close, citing market conditions.
The restaurant has only been open in Salisbury for over a year, opening in August 2021. It was the 2nd branch of Wilding, with the other in Oxford, which will continue to stay open.
In an email to customers, they said, "We are writing with the very sad news that we are having to close Wilding Restaurant in Salisbury."
"The current market conditions and increased costs on food, utilities and labour have made it impossible for us to continue."
"We will be closed from Sunday 20th November."
"We are deeply sorry if this has scuppered any of your plans for Christmas bookings."
Wilding advises that any customers with bookings will hear from the team shortly.
In the email, they go on to thank customers, "Thank you to each and every one of you who supported us during our time in Salisbury.
It was brief, but it was beautiful."
