Wiltshire Council are warning us to be aware of parking scams that are being received by text message.
They say they are aware of residents receiving text messages that suggest that they need to pay a parking fine.
These messages are a scam. They add if you get a parking fine from Wiltshire Council they will not contact you via text about it.

The rogue text messages suggest that if you do not pay, you will be prosecuted and may have to pay a bigger fine as well as any court costs.
If you receive one of these messages, Wiltshire Council ask that you report it here - https://www.ncsc.gov.uk/
