The section of the A36 on Warminster Road which was closed this morning after a lorry collided with a railway bridge has now reopened (4.30pm 19th April 2022).
Police were called to the scene at around 10am following the collision at Kingsway Bridge.
Wiltshire Police handed the incident over to National Highways earlier this afternoon and an inspector evaluated the scene.
A spokesperson for National Highways said, "A full inspection of the carriageway was undertaken following the recovery of the HGV and no repairs were needed."
