Two more extend their Ray Mac stay

Salisbury FC has announced that Josh Sommerton and Tom Leggett have signed new contracts with the club.

Leggett was last year’s player’s player of the season after playing in several positions across the backline and in midfield.

Josh Sommerton, approaching 200 appearances for the Whites, has committed to another season at the Ray Mac.

Brian Dutton was delighted to have them sign new contracts: “Josh Sommerton had a stop-start season for the last campaign, but we all witnessed how vital he was to the Team when he was playing and also not playing.

“So I’m delighted to resign him, and with him being one of your own, it makes it even more special.”

On Leggett, he added, “Leggy won the players player at the awards night, and he fully deserved it. He played in numerous positions last season, and he excelled in all of them, which is a testament to what a well-rounded footballer he is. We’re all delighted to secure his services for next season.”
