Two men have been arrested following an incident on Tuesday (10th June) in which a car travelling at excessive speed, on the Range Road between Bulford and Tidworth, failed to stop for police officers.
The vehicle collided with a member of the public, who sustained minor injury, before a stinger could be deployed, which was successful.
The vehicle came to a halt, colliding with a van and then an unmarked police vehicle on the A338 near Tidworth cemetery.
The two occupants of the car were taken to the hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
A quantity of suspected class A drugs was subsequently found in the car.
The driver, a 30-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, drink driving, aggravated taking a vehicle without consent, driving while disqualified and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
The front seat passenger, a 31-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated taking a vehicle without consent and possession with intent to supply class A drugs.
