A date has been set for the trial of Alfie Miller, the man charged with murder in Longhedge.
Appearing via video link, Alfie Miller appeared at Winchester Crown Court this morning (Wednesday, 7th May).
The 21-year-old will appear again at Winchester Crown Court on Tuesday, 22nd July to enter his plea for the charge of the murder of Darren Hughes, 52, who was found dead inside a property on Davies Road, Longhedge, on the morning of Saturday, 3rd May.
Judge Angela Morris confirmed a date of the 24th November for the trial, which will last up to three weeks.
A police presence remains in the area of Davies Road.
Alfie Miller remains in custody.
