Tiny Titans Opening at Longleat for Easter

A new interactive experience is coming to Longleat this Easter as Tiny Titans opens to guests.

The new experience at the Wiltshire estate invites guests to enjoy an immersive experience with the small and mighty of the animal kingdom in the newly revamped handling hall.

The new space will become home to a variety of invertebrates such as beetles, spiders, and snails, as well as stick insects, millipedes, and cockroaches, amongst others.

Kim Ovens, Education and Engagement Lead, said, “We’re really pleased to breathe new life into our handling hall in Animal Adventure and bring back these interactive experiences.

“We are always listening to feedback, with many guests wanting to experience close encounters. While we’ve had similar opportunities available during some of our seasonal events, we’re happy to be bringing back our popular smaller residents, including the amazing spiders and beetles. This will be subject to the best welfare standards and keeper judgement on the day, but pop in and see what is going on.”

The space has previously been used for similar immersive experiences, having more recently been home to the park’s pair of sloths, who could be seen moving across the ceiling. They moved into the Bat Cave when it reopened in February 2025.

Kim added, “Our guests will be able to see a variety of beetles, katydids, and spiders, including some tarantulas and scorpions to learn all about and amazing world of invertebrates. It is a diverse mix, and we hope our guests will learn a lot from seeing them and their habitats about how important they are to our eco-system.

“Keepers will be on hand to talk about their various adaptations and how they make a difference to our natural world. Visitors will be able to experience this by seeing the animals in their naturalistic habitats and in living interactive displays."

Tiny Titans is due to open this Easter and will be a permanent animal area at the park with access included in Day Tickets.
