Salisbury Radio broadcasts local news from 6am every weekday.
It's not just local news, but "a compendium of useful stuff", says Station Manager Craig Hicks.
The Way It Is features local news, national headlines, sport, what's on information and stories that we hope are of interest to people who live, work and play in and around the city.
Salisbury Radio is currently acquiring a huge online listening audience, thanks to the increased use of 'smart speakers'. The new local radio station for Salisbury will also launch of DAB (digital radio) later this year.
"We believe in giving useful and useable local information in concise and easy to grasp formats", adds Craig who is also the radio station's Breakfast Show host. "We are committed to creating and curating local news and information each hour of every day, but these stories will not just be on the radio.
"People can learn about what's happening in the immediate world around them on our sparkly new website, across social media platforms and we are currently working our who looks best on camera for a series of television broadcasts".
