An evening of music, dancing, and storytelling is being held to raise money for the Studio Theatre on Ashley Road in Salisbury.
The event takes place this Friday (1st March) and doors open at 7 pm for a 7:30 start.
It will feature music from the New Group band featuring Tim Darlow on guitars, Mark Thomas on drums, Mike Doherty on vocals as well as Ruth Jones on bass, and Sarah McCauley on vocals.
Also performing on the evening will be The Crofton Stokers with their own special brand of Folk and Popular tunes.
There will also be a short story by Lucy Brown performed by Alice Hudson.
Those joining for the evening are asked to bring their dancing shoes and be ready for fun, Mike Doherty said of the New Group Band, "A group of 60-somethings who have all played in various Salisbury bands over the years, have formed the New Group, a six-piece originals rock band, to raise funds for the Studio Theatre in Ashley Rd.
"They are playing at the Theatre this Friday March 1st. With excellent support from the Crofton Stokers folk band and a short story with a local flavour by Lucy Brown delivered by actor Alice Hudson."
