Dan Fitchett has signed for Salisbury FC until the end of the season, confirming his fourth spell at the Ray Mac.
Fitchett, 33, played an integral role in helping Brian Dutton's side to promotion to the Vanarama National League South via the play-offs last season before leaving the club for Sholing at the start of this season.
Since then, the forward has spent time at Gosport Borough before returning to Ray Mac.
Brian Dutton said, ""I'm really pleased to bring Fitch back. I think he’s missed us just as much as we’ve missed him.
"We’re obviously crying out for another player at the top end of the pitch to secure possession and bring his teammates into the game.
"He has an affinity with the club and supporters, and when he’s up-to-speed, he will show he still has the capabilities to perform at this level."
He is joined at the Ray Mac by Rhys Byrne, 22, who has arrived on loan from Leyton Orient. With Dan Lincoln and Alex Rutter unavailable, Brian Dutton has moved to provide cover between the sticks.
Byrne has experience at this level, having played in the Vanarama National League South while on loan at Dartford last season.
Brian Dutton said on the 'keeper's arrival, "I'm delighted to bring Rhys in. He’s shown a real willingness to come here, and we want to repay his attitude with the opportunity."
