Wiltshire FA has confirmed that the Wilts Premier Shield Semi-Final between Salisbury and Bemerton Heath Harlequins will now be played at the Ray Mac.
The game had been scheduled to be played at Chippenham Town’s Hardenhuish stadium, but it has been relocated with two Salisbury-based sides now competing in the fixture.
The change has come thanks to agreement from both Chippenham and Harlequins, which will make it much easier for as many supporters of both sides as possible to attend the game.
The match is scheduled to take place on Tuesday 4th, February, with a 7:45 pm kick-off.
Ticket prices and full match arrangements are now being discussed between Salisbury and Harlequins for the match. We will update supporters as soon as possible with these details.
On the change of venues, Salisbury FC manager Brian Dutton said, "Thanks to everyone involved, Chippenham, for that; it would have been easy for them to dig their heels in because they'd agreed on it before a ball was kicked. It was their right to host it.
"It makes total sense in my mind to have it at the Ray Mac or at Bemmy. It's fantastic for everyone involved. It will be a great occasion playing against Bemmy."
