Salisbury is delighted to announce that local DJ, Disco Dion, is joining the presenting team at the station.
Dion is well known to many across South Wiltshire for his exuberant DJing at local events, private parties and weddings. You'll now also be able to hear him on Salisbury Radio.
Things will start as Dion helps us welcome in 2023 in our New Years' Eve Party anthems special between 10 pm and 1 am.
Also, Dion will be spicing up things on Saturday evening party anthems from January onwards.
Station manager, Craig Hicks, said: "It's great to have Dion on board. He is well-known locally for his DJ sets, and I know the Salisbury Radio audience will love him.
"Dion has been around the DJ scene in Salisbury for a long time and know's what gets the party started, and I am sure he will do exactly the same here on Salisbury Radio."
Dion has been spinning the wheels of steel locally for as long as many can care to remember playing at local night clubs, including the infamous Churchills and has also made an appearance on Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway. The latter he might want to forget.
Tune in to Dion along with all the shows on Salisbury Radio on DAB, Smart speakers and online here at lovesalisbury.co.uk
