Salisbury District Hospital has announced that they are under tremendous pressure and is asking the public to not attend unless they are acutely ill and need urgent hospital treatment.
The hospital is asking that the public do not attend unless urgent so that staff can care for patients with severe or life-threatening injuries and illnesses.
The public is asked to please consider alternatives for treatment for minor injuries or illnesses such as the Salisbury Walk-In Centre Local pharmacists can also provide advice.
If anyone is unsure, they should call NHS 111 or go to www.111.nhs.uk.
