Earlier this afternoon (2nd March) we were warned to stay away from the River Avon near Ashley Road after the discovery of a suspected historic munition.
After an inspection, it was found that the device, thought to be from the World War 2 era, was found not to contain explosives.
Police quickly removed the cordon as there was no risk to the public.
