Salisbury City Council has revealed that a new CCTV camera has been installed at the Old Mill in West Harnham.
This investment follows consultation with residents, businesses, and Wiltshire Police.
The CCTV camera, installed by Smart Integrated Solutions, now covers both sides of the Town Path, enhancing public safety.
Cllr Annie Riddle of Harnham West said, "There has been some distressing anti-social behaviour in the Town Path area in recent years, and this has had a particular impact on the Old Mill, a popular destination for tourists as well as locals, where the current owners have invested a lot of money in improving facilities.
"This camera will feed straight into our central CCTV control room. It will provide high quality images of the culprits, improving the chances of identifying and tracking them and of spotting offences as they happen, enabling a prompt response.

"This initiative is the result of city councillors and officers working with the local PCSO, residents and the hotel staff to try to stop a few troublemakers spoiling other people's enjoyment of one of the city's most beautiful areas."
