This year the Mayor of Salisbury, Cllr Tom Corbin is holding a Christmas Card competition.
He is encouraging local children up to the age of 13 years old to design his own, special annual Christmas Card.
The card which will feature the winner’s name and age and will be sent by the Mayor to his contacts locally and also to overseas destinations such as the Sister Cities in Maryland USA and the Twinning Cities of Xanten and Saintes.
Cllr Corbin said, “I want to encourage creativity with the theme Christmas in Salisbury which can take any form and I am really looking forward to seeing all the different colourful entries.
"The winning design will be sent across the world so this is the your chance to show off your artistic talent. Good luck.”
A template entry form is available via the City Council’s website by clicking here or from the Information Centre in Fish Row.
All entries must be submitted by 18 November.
The winner will be announced shortly after the closing date.
