A man has been charged with attempted murder following a serious road traffic collision in Salisbury last week.
Braden Lynam, 22, of Trowbridge, was charged in early hours of April 1st in connection with an incident that occurred in South Western Road on Thursday (27th March).
He has been remanded in custody and appeared at Salisbury Magistrates courts where he did not enter a plea and the case was handed up to the Crown Court. He will return to court on Wednesday, 30th April, for a plea and trial preparation hearing.
Two people were seriously injured in the collision, one of whom is a man in his 40s who suffered potentially life-changing injuries and remains in hospital for treatment.
A woman in her 20s suffered injuries which aren’t thought to be life-changing and has been discharged from hospital.
