The walkway between Dinghams Cookshop and St Thomas's Church was closed off today (4th March 2022) after reports of two men arguing in Salisbury City Centre.
At about 1.30pm today, police were called to the scene outside the Market Walk, on Market Place, after receiving reports of two men arguing.
A spokesperson for Wiltshire Police said, "A member of the public reported that one of them was in possession of a knife.
"A man was taken to hospital for minor injuries.
"Responding officers arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and conspiracy to commit GBH."
