Holtonfest in memory of brother who died from MND

A host of local bands are coming together to play 'Holton Fest' to raise money and awareness of Motor Neurone Disease.

Holton Fest is held in honour of Alan Holton, who died from this terrible disease in 2017.

Alan’s brothers Colin and Gary Holton both play in several local bands, and these bands will perform at the Rude Giant Beer House on Saturday, 28th September.

The Zucchinis, Lump, The Passenger Club, PunKture, and Pyeshoppe will perform from 6 pm to 10.30 pm, and then club DJs will play until the early hours.

Entry is via donation (cash and QR codes) from 5.30 pm.

MND is a devastating disease that affects up to 5,000 adults in the UK at any one time and kills six people every day. There is no cure.

The MND Association focuses on improving access to care, research and campaigning for those people living with or affected by MND in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Colin Holton said, "Lets have some fun for a very worthy cause and help try and conquer this!"
