Wiltshire Police are investigating an incident of racially aggravated public order and assault in Salisbury.
At approximately 10.30 pm on December 3rd, a disorder took place at Frost Bar in Market Square.
During the incident, a member of security was verbally abused and assaulted.
PC Jack Bailey said: “This is a busy local venue, and members of the public would have been in the bar and the local area at the time - it is likely that somebody may have seen something and may have information which could assist our investigation.”
A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of two counts of common assault, two counts of common assault on an emergency worker, and racially aggravated harassment.
He has been released on conditional bail while further enquiries are carried out.
