Exeter loanee leaves Salisbury after injury

Goalkeeper Harry Lee, who has been on loan at Salisbury FC since January, has returned to Exeter City after picking up an injury.

The stopper arrived in January to increase competition in the goalkeeping ranks, but this also led to the departure of Josh Gould, the previous first-choice keeper.

Exeter recalled Lee after he picked up a wrist injury in the weekend game against Merthyr Town.

A statement on the club website said, "Harry has been a popular addition to the squad in his short time at Salisbury FC.

"We want to thank Harry and Exeter City and wish them well for the future."

His stay was originally planned to have lasted until the end of the season; it is unknown if Brian Dutton will bring in a replacement, with Alex Rutter having performed well in his appearances so far.
