“If you keep going at full speed for an hour, it’s the equivalent of skiing from the top of Everest to sea level in one continuous run,” explains Nick Jenkins, founder of South Wilts Ski Club. “We’ve set a £1,000 challenge for anyone who can do it.”

The club’s Infinity Slope – a continuously revolving surface for skiing and snowboarding – is designed for skill-building, technique refinement, and endurance. It replicates the feel of real snow without the ice, rocks or crowded pistes, offering an uninterrupted training experience that’s as physically demanding as it is technical.

“What I wanted to create was a place where people can learn to ski or come to seriously improve their skiing,” adds Nick. “You don’t stop skiing until you choose to. It’s relentless, but that’s what makes it such a great place to learn and train.”

Open to all ages and abilities, South Wilts Ski Club is home to everyone from beginners to performance athletes. Every session is led by a qualified instructor, offering real-time tips and coaching to help skiers and snowboarders progress faster and more confidently.
