Salisbury FC has announced the signing of Craig Fasanmade, 24, from Chippenham Town FC.
Fasanmade joined Chippenham from Hemel Hempstead in 2022 and became a regular last season after an injury hit the first season, making 46 appearances and scoring 14.
A product of the youth system at Oxford City, he would go on to play for Hungerford, Wealdstone and Hemel Hempstead before joining Chippenham.
Fas, as he is known, is a hard-working player with pace, which, along with his goals, made him a fan favourite at Chippenham.
Brian Dutton said of the signing, “I’m delighted to have Craig on board; he’s a player I have monitored for the last few seasons. He is a versatile striker who can operate anywhere across the front line.
“He’s another player I feel is on the cusp of having an outstanding season at the level, having gained good experience recently. I’m sure he will excite and enthuse our fans next season.”
On joining Salisbury, Craig Fasanmade said, “I get a really good sense of what the club’s about and what the fans bring. Speaking to Brian, he said that it’s a really good atmosphere, so I’m looking forward to come in and experience that myself.
“I’m excited to come and see the ground, and I’m looking forward to getting going.”
David Trowbridge from Retain Healthcare, Salisbury’s front-of-shirt sponsor for the last three seasons, welcomed Craig to the Ray Mac this morning.
