Police have released a CCTV image of a missing 81-year-old man, as they continue their search for 'Philip'.
’Philip’ was last seen in the Fountain Way area of the city at around 10.30am yesterday morning (28th December 2025).
Police say, “We are increasingly concerned for his welfare”.
He is described as approximately 5ft 7ins tall, of average build, with white/grey hair.
Police obtained this CCTV image that captured Philip on South Western Road shortly after he went missing. He is seen to be wearing a dark coat, jeans and brown shoes.
Inspector Emily Grigor said, "Given his age, we are increasingly concerned for Philip, who has not been seen for 24 hours. He left the care unit where he was staying and may be trying to make his way to Bath, where his wife lives.
"We are working with local bus companies and partner agencies to try to find Philip. I would urge anyone in the Fountain Way area to check in and around their properties, including gardens, and also review any private CCTV or doorbell footage for sightings of Philip."
If you can help locate Philip, please call 999 quoting log number 121 of yesterday's date (28th December 2025).
