A36 crash sees four taken to hospital

Ambulance crews take four people to Salisbury District Hospital following a multi-car collision on the A36.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident just before 11:40 am this morning (14th December) after the accident near Pepperbox Hill on the A36.

Two crews from Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service attended, along with police and multiple ambulances, attended the scene.

A statement from Wiltshire Police said: "We were called at around 11.35am today following a four vehicle RTC on the A36 near Whiteparish.

"Fortunately, there are no reported serious injuries. Recovery is ongoing."

Amongst the passengers involved in the collision were a parent and her child, who is under two years old. All are said to be doing well in the hospital besides minor injuries.

Wiltshire Police confirmed the road has reopened.
