This Saturday brings the final home game of the calendar year for Salisbury, with Welling United, the visitors to the Ray Mac.
Brian Dutton describes the game as huge: "It's a game where we're down at the bottom, and Welling is down at the bottom. It's a cliche; it's a six-pointer."
The clubs are currently sitting in 18th and 19th place in the league, separated by just three points, but Welling are currently in slightly better form.
They have been unbeaten in their last four league games, including an away win at Slough Town. More recently, they have drawn away at Aveley and beaten Bath City.
It was a first-half goal from Joshua Redfearn that separated the two sides, his fourth goal in five starts.
Welling also had a free mid-week to prepare for the fixture, whereas Salisbury are coming off the back of three hard games in quick succession in two competitions.
Salisbury have won away Chesham United in the FA Trophy, drawn away at Slough Town prior to defeat against Maidstone United on Tuesday in mid-week.
Two goals from Aaron Blair, one in each half, was enough to see The Stones past Salisbury at the Ray Mac.
Brian Dutton is calling on Salisbury supporters to come and show their support for his side. "We need the support of the fans; it's important they come and support, and we will get through this together."
Salisbury FC Supporters Club are encouraging supporters to wear something festive to the game on Saturday - be it a Christmas hat, jumper or some tinsel.
Also at the game, Harry Byrne will be returning to the Ray Mac as part of his running challenge. Supporters may remember Harry from a few years ago; he was running in memory of his younger brother Reuben.
This year, his challenge is to run 2km every day until Christmas, and he will be running around the edge of the pitch at the Ray Mac again this weekend.
Harry, 10, hopes to raise at least £1,000 to purchase gifts for poorly children, like his brother Reuben, who died from a rare genetic condition called PIGB in December 2021.
He and his family will be collecting money towards his fundraising, so please bring any cash you can spare to donate.
