Violinist and Director Margaret performs music from Monteverdi to the present day in a career that has included playing in a West End Musical, a contemporary music ensemble, a ballet orchestra and, early in her career, with the Academy of St Martin’s and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra. She has also guest-led the London Philharmonic Orchestra (London) and the Handel and Haydn Society (Boston). Now best known as a specialist in historical performance (playing on instruments for which the music was written) she has directed and led many of the best-known ensembles in the UK and Europe.
