Breastfest is raising funds for Salisbury District Hospital Stars Appeal, but specifically the Breast Cancer unit and the Pembroke Suite Chemo unit.
The event is being organised by Salisbury's Brian Mundy who is known for providing stage and technical support to Salisbury Live and other events across the area via his company BSM Stage Tec.
Brian is now putting these contacts to good use, by running his own event to raise money for Stars Appeal, beacuse of the support they have given to his wife over the last two years as she battles with Breast Cancer.
Brian told Salisbury Radio, "We're raising funds for both units as they have been caring compassionate and honest with treatment for my wife over the past two years. It's our way of saying thank you."
The event will feature local bands Sock Puppet Jukebox, the Rocktastic Solarbird and headlined by the authentic Pink Floyd tribute. All Floyd.
There will be food vendors and inflatable fun for the kids.
Tickets are priced at £10 per adult with accompanied children under 16 free.
It takes place at Salisbury Rugby Club on Saturday 6th July with gates opening at 2pm and entertainment starting at 3pm.
